Teresa Miller

Teresa Miller has over a decade of experience in the disability sector, spanning within supported independent living (SIL), community housing, and complex disability project work.
Now a Support Coordinator, she connects NDIS participants with suitable housing, builds networks across health and disability services, and coordinates multidisciplinary teams to achieve participant goals.
Within her disability career, includes roles such as Support Lead/Project Coordinator, Housing Officer, and Royal Commission Projects Officer, Administration at Minda, where she delivered key recommendations, managed large-scale residential transitions and worked alongside SIL Managers. Teresa has overseen the setup and fit-out of fully accessible homes, developed participant-focused support models.
Holding a Certificate IV in Disability and Diplomas in Business Administration and Management, Teresa blends hands-on experience & project management skills.
Known for her enthusiasm, love of family and friends, entertaining and of course the family German Shepherd dog and cat.
Lauren Werner

Lauren Werner completed a Bachelor of Registered Nursing in 2016 at Flinders University. She has almost a decade of experience working alongside people with complex and high support need disabilities in the community with a strong preference for supporting people living with spinal cord injury.
She has a special interest in intersectionality within disability, believing that every person’s story is shaped by many layers of identity and experience. Lauren is passionate about living and working in the “grey areas” of life, where nuance and empathy matter most. Outside of work, she enjoys family life—including sharing her home with a giant breed dog.

Sapana Shrestha

Sapana Shrestha is a compassionate Specialist Support Coordinator with a Master of Social Work from the University of South Australia (2019). She brings a wealth of experience from both Nepal and Australia, specialising in spinal cord injury rehabilitation and psychosocial support.
Sapana began her career in Nepal as a Psychosocial Counsellor, where she provided critical emotional support to individuals and families affected by life-changing injuries, particularly following the 2015 earthquake.
Since relocating to Australia, Sapana has continued her advocacy through her work at Estara, supporting participants with complex needs, hospital discharges, home modifications, and housing solutions. She collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, person-centred care. Known for her empathy, professionalism, and strong advocacy skills, Sapana is deeply committed to empowering people with disabilities. Her practice is guided by a belief in dignity, respect, and meaningful outcomes for every individual she supports.
