Journey to estara

Over a year ago our organisation commenced a rebrand journey to explore the idea of bringing together our existing brands Paraquad SA and HomeCare+ under one unified name.

We formed an internal brand committee who worked closely alongside a team of local talented creatives, exploring and workshopping what our organisation stands for and its impact.

It was wonderful to reflect, thoughtfully, on our journey to date (a 60-year strong one!) and what the future looks like, not only for ourselves, but for the people that matter most, our clients.

After considering several pathways and brand options, we unanimously agreed on the name we have launched today, estara.

The story behind estara

The new brand features a star to symbolise excellence and positivity (something we strive for each and every day) and is inspired by our purpose to help people be connected, be guided and be supported to achieve their full potential.

By unifying our organisation under the one brand, we aim to have a more holistic approach in how we influence effective change and remove barriers to good living, upholding the rights of people living with disability here in South Australia.

One of the brand aspects that I felt really spoke to who we are and what we stand for, was the line Because you matter – something you are sure to hear more of!

Because, at estara, we believe that everyone, from our clients, partners and our team, matter. It’s important to not only realise that but genuinely feel that. Something we really strive for at estara with sincerity, honesty and dependability at our core and underpinning the connections we make both with our clients and within the community.

Our services and advocacy remain the same

Even though estara signifies a new era for our organisation, our DNA and who we are remain the same. The same people, offering the same range of services and support programs that extend right across the state.

I am thrilled to share this evolution of our brand with you and can’t wait to see estara build upon our 60-year presence here in South Australia, supporting and empowering people living with spinal cord injury and other disabilities to choose how they live their potential.
