Your role

As estara’s Administration Officer, you will work closely with our dedicated In-home and Community Support (IHCS) team and other departments within estara, focusing on our impact across Greater Adelaide and wider South Australia.

estara provides individualised quality services and support to the wider disability community through our innovative In-Home & Community Support services. We operate regionally around South Australia, and we are looking to appoint an efficient and high-quality Administration Officer to be based at our Dulwich office on a permanent full-time basis. 

Day-to-day, you will:

• Provide front-desk reception services, ensuring professional and courteous first point of contact for clients, staff, and visitors

• Ensure all incoming phone calls are attended to in a timely and courteous manner, and enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively in a confidential and sensitive manner

• Ensure high-functioning operational day to day running of the estara IHCS function, including tasks such as scheduling of meetings and appointments, monitoring and ordering of office supplies and consumables

• Provide daily administrative support to the estara IHCS team including preparation of correspondence, reports, data entry and assist with rostering as required

• Provide support to other estara departments as directed

• Ability to respond with empathy and maintain calm in stressful circumstances.

Your role

As the Senior Support Worker at one of estara's Supported Independent Living (SIL) residences, you will work with our Support Worker team and provide direct support to individuals living with a disability, including assistance with the daily operations of the SIL home, administrative tasks and supervision of Support Workers.

• Problem-solving and time management skills

• Demonstrated frontline leadership experience

• Knowledge of NDIS worker and quality and safeguarding requirements

Our specialised disability support team leads with a multi-disciplinary approach, ensuring holistic support for our clients. Your role

As estara’s Spinal Nurse Advisor, you will work closely with our expert Specialised Disability Support team, focussing on our impact across Greater Adelaide and wider South Australia.

Day-to-day, you will work with our clients and provide individual consultative advice and support on a range of health matters specifically for those living with a spinal cord injury or related neurological conditions. In this position, you will support our clients with a spinal cord injury to live in the community and maintain their general health, wellbeing and lifestyle in order to live their potential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of rehabilitation and treatment following spinal cord injuries

Special conditions

• Current South Australian full drivers’ licence is essential

• DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check and any relevant Screenings as stipulated by DHS/NDIS with at least 6 months’ validity

• Intrastate travel and work outside of normal business hours as required
